Feeder Mouse

Hank here, I am at the grocery store going up every aisle looking for food for us. We need mice and I can’t find them; I think I need your help. Did you know the cost of a single feeder mouse is now 69 cents plus shipping. We buy 1,100 to 1,800 every two to three weeks depending on how many birds of prey we have along with other animals. Let’s do the math- Wait I need to borrow my human’s calculator for this one because I don’t have enough fingers and toes. That’s $759 to $1,242 plus shipping. I don’t even know how much that is because in the wild we hunt but here at Watkins Wildlife Rehab my humans have to buy them, they don’t know how to hunt for mice. Silly humans. If you can buy us some mice we will give you a virtual hug. Now don’t worry they wont be shipped to your house.
